Watch for People Who Frequent the Area

If either your employees or indoor / outdoor security cameras capture a person who frequently visits without making a purchase or loiters in the area, then that could be a sign of someone casing the building. Alert employees of this person’s suspicious activity.  Make sure your indoor and outdoor security cameras are in working order and retain archives of the videos showing their suspicious activity in the event a crime is attempted or occurs.
